Biography
Selected as a child actor by Turkey’s national channel TRT, Selin Yeninci began her acting career early, training at Karşıyaka Municipality Theatre and performing in numerous children’s plays. During high school, she engaged in acting, theatre, live broadcast hosting, and voice-over work.
While studying Acting at 9 Eylül University, she attended acting workshops in London and Amsterdam. Her stage debut in Don Juan’s Night at Haluk Bilginer’s Oyun Atölyesi earned her a Sadri Alışık Theatre Awards nomination. Selin has starred in several series and films, including Burning Days, nominated at the Cannes Film Festival, and Bitter Land, broadcast in over 50 countries.
Her character Saniye became a phenomenon, particularly in Italy and Latin America. Invited to international festivals as a guest of honor, she was also a Rising Star at the New York Turkish Film Festival.
Founder of SY Entertainment, she promotes global platform-drama content. Recognized as a Young Society Leader by The American Turkish Society, she currently continues her activities in Los Angeles.
